Dr. Wood partners with local veterinarians to improve pets’ cardiac health and quality of life. The standard of excellence, years of experience, and continued education in cutting-edge medicine have made Cardiology Northwest a pioneer in the veterinary specialist community.
At Cardiology Northwest we work closely with primary care veterinarians to ensure patients always have access to critical cardiac care. After each examination, all diagnostic results and treatment recommendations will be forwarded to the referring doctor.
Our standard initial appointment includes:
Consultation and Examination: $150
Echocardiogram (heart ultrasound): $575
For urgent (same- or next-day) appointments: $85 Emergency fee (additional charge)
Following the initial examination, our cardiologists are available for follow-up consultation (via phone or e-mail) at no cost to referring doctors or clients. Often, ongoing diagnostics will be recommended with your office to monitor patients’ heart health.
Due to our current appointment volume, stable and asymptomatic patients should expect to schedule an appointment 8-12 weeks from the time they contact our office. This allows us to facilitate urgent and emergency cases.
If your patient’s condition worsens, please contact us directly at 503-246-9689 as we maintain accommodations for emergency appointments as well as an active cancelation list. We also work closely with the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin to help diagnose and manage their hospitalized cardiac cases.
