Although it is difficult to accurately estimate the cost before examining your pet, our standard initial appointment includes:
Consultation and Examination: $150 for your pet’s first visit.
Echocardiogram (heart ultrasound): $525
Other recommendations such as, blood pressure, blood work, chest X-rays, electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) or Holter monitor, will impact the cost of each visit. A typical cardiac work-up ranges from $600 to $1000, with an average cost of about $800.
An estimate of anticipated cost will be provided to you before beginning any diagnostic testing. In general, the more information the doctor has available, the more we can fine-tune your pet’s care. Previous tests are helpful for comparison. Cardiology Northwest is committed to giving your pet the best possible care regardless of how much you choose to spend.
Full payment is expected at the time of your pet’s visit. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, CareCredit, debit cards, checks, and cash for payment.

CareCredit helps pay for out-of-pocket expenses for you, your pet, and your family! Once you are approved, you can use it again and again to help manage health costs.
CareCredit is different from a regular credit card—there is a shorter-term financing option of six months with no interest on purchases/services of $200 or more when you pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. Otherwise, interest is charged from the original purchase date.
